The Oakridge Concerts in the Park Committee announces the starting line up for the 2024 Rock the Park Concert series staring June 15th.

Whether you are looking for high-quality entertainment for your wedding, dinner party or corporate event - Dorian May can provide a group that is the perfect fit for your event.
Our group is available as a trio (piano, bass & drums) or with the addition of a female or male vocalist and/or tenor sax, trumpet and/or trombone.
The repertoire ranges from dinner jazz and cocktail classics, Cuban mambos and boleros to old-time swing tunes.
All members are professional musicians with many years of experience providing music for various events.

Banter Waves bio:

Banter Waves is an instrumental power-trio inspired by the far reaches of jazz, hip-hop, funk, tango, honky tonk, electronica, swing, and of course, rock n roll.  Tim McLaughlin is equally versed on guitar and trumpet and can be seen touring and performing in groups ranging from salsa bands, to rock and jam and bluegrass groups, to jazz ensembles, and with singer/songwriters.  He combines this versatility with James West and Dorian Crow who have been holding down the rhythm section in many legendary PNW bands for many years now. As a trio, together they get to explore another side of their musical world…. a greasy, spooky and funky world.  The Eugene-based group will be featuring their original material as well as a wide collection of sketches of standards and contemporary tunes that range from the Beatles to The Buena Vista Social Club to Nirvana, and a lot in-between.  Banter Waves is the definition of creativity, spontaneity, and originality. 

Inner Limits bio:

Inner Limits is an energetic blues/rock band based in Eugene, Oregon that weaves original compositions and unique arrangements of solid classic blues and rock songs into each set. Their love for songwriters like Jerry Reed, Bob Dylan and John Fogerty combined with a deep influence from bands with such musical prowess as Led Zeppelin, the Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd and Muddy Waters contributes to Inner Limits’ distinctive blues/rock sound. The group frequently performs at regional craft beer and music festivals and keeps a busy performance schedule at wineries, breweries and music clubs. Olem Alves heads the group on lead vocals and guitar with Torrey Newhart on keyboards and Ryan Biesack on drums.
